In-Text Citations
To give credibility to your History Day project, you need to use in-text citations for exhibits, web sites, and papers. In-text citation means giving credit within your project to sources from which you gained information used in your project. In-text refers to placing the source information near the paraphrased text or quote that you are using in your project; citation is the shortened form of your source, such as the author's last name or the first few words of the title if no author is available.
